Het O|2 Labgebouw is ontwikkeld voor het onderzoeksthema Human Life Sciences. Hier werken wetenschappers van de VU en Amsterdam UMC aan maatschappelijke vraagstukken in een mix van fundamenteel en toegepast bèta-medisch onderzoek, zoals Tuberculose en Alzheimeronderzoek.
O2 Labgebouw
Het O|2 labgebouw, dat onderdeel uitmaakt van de nieuwe VU-campus, past in deze ambitie. In dit nieuwe onderzoeks- en onderwijsgebouw werken 750 onderzoekers en zo'n 100 masterstudenten van de Vrije Universiteit en het VU Medisch Centrum samen aan belangrijke maatschappelijke vraagstukken binnen het thema Human Health & Life Sciences.
